What and Where is Graystone?
Graystone is a 35 Lot single family Development in Vernon, B.C.  Overlooking Kalamalka Lake and with a magnificent view of the Monashee Mountains, Graystone provides some of the best building sites that the Okanagan has to offer.  Here you can custom design and build the house that you've always wanted.  CLICK HERE for a map of the area.

Kalamalka Lake - Does that mean I have Beach Access?
YES! There are multiple public beach accesses along West Kal Road including a very well maintained public boat launch. Kalview Estates Ltd. is constructing a pedestrian trail network to provide you with easy access to these great public beach spots.

What about the Park?
In addition to Beach Access, the Developer has dedicated a 0.25 acre park as an amenity to the Development.

When will Lots be available?
Lots are now available.  Please contact the Heidi Lussi Real Estate Team for further sales information or to arrange a tour of the subdivision.

What type of Home can I build?
Graystone has been constructed to provide for a variety of house types. Low side Lots (Lots 1- 22 and 35) are designed to accommodate level entry "walk-out" bungalows type homes, while high side Lots (Lots 23-34) will be "two-story" homes with full or half in-ground basements.

Does the Development support a Theme or Style?
Kalview Estates Ltd. has elected to carry a "Craftsman Style" and "Prairie Style" theme throughout the Development. This style encompasses low-pitched, gabled roofs with wide, roof overhangs, in which beams and roof rafters are left exposed. Craftsman homes commonly feature full-or partial-width porches with roofs supported by square columns. Craftsman materials include wood-shingled walls and wooden rafter ends, sturdy masonry foundations, smooth rounded stone column bases and veneer treatments, stuccoed or cement wall finishes and flat tile or shingle roofs.

Does the Development Have Architectural Guidelines?
To ensure the dynamic consistency of sophistication, elegance, and quality craftsmanship among all homes in the subdivision, Kalview Estates has adopted detailed Architectural Guidelines and Landscape Guidelines. These Guidelines reflect both the "Craftsman Style" and "Prairie Style" architecture types and are in place to protect the investment of all Lot owners. What about a Builder?

In order to maintain a standard of excellence, Kalview Estates will only permit construction by Developer Approved contractors.  This policy is in pace to ensure consistent quality throughout the subdivision and to protect the value of your new home.  We are always willing to review experienced contractors to be included in our list of Approved Builders.  Please visit our Builders area for a list of pre-approved contractors.
